In this workshop participants will learn with two of the world’s leading practitioners and researchers in Mindfulness. It will explore the science and practice of Mindfulness and focus on how to apply Mindfulness personally and professionally to enable participants to support clients, students and employees to grow their careers, make effective transitions, engage with further education and to live a life more aligned with core values.

Dr Paul AtkinsDr Paul Atkins

Paul is an Associate Professor in leadership and organisational behaviour with the Crawford School of Economics and Government at the Australian National University. His extensive experience in  coaching and leadership development helps people improve their capacity to manage their careers, communicate effectively, select and develop staff, make effective decisions, and manage complexity through thinking clearly, ethically and systemically.

Paul’s  research interests include examining the potential of mindfulness training for improving engagement, well-being and performance in organisational contexts. He holds a PhD in Psychology from Cambridge University, is a registered psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society and the College of Organisational Psychology.


Dr Craig Hassed

Craig is a General Practitioner and Senior Lecturer at the Monash University Department of General Practice.  His teaching, research and clinical interests include mindfulness-based stress management, mind-body medicine, meditation, holistic healthcare, health promotion, complementary therapies and medical ethics.  Craig is regularly invited to speak and run courses in Australia and overseas and is a regular media commentator on these issues.  He also writes regularly for medical journals and has published four books; “New Frontiers in Medicine”

(Volumes 1 and 2), a third book on mindfulness-based stress management entitled “Know Thyself”, a fourth on an holistic lifestyle approach to healthcare, “The Essence of Health” and most recently a textbook co authored with Kerryn Phelps, “General Practice: the integrative approach”.

A Master Certified Coach who specialises in coaching for leadership and career development. She coaches executives, managers and professional clients to connect with their energy, drive and purpose.

Fleur brings a varied background to her commitment to coaching through management, small business, consultancy, administration, education and several forays into the hospitality industry. This background and extensive coach training serves her well in coaching leaders and teams. She is a Master Certified Coach, Professional Mentor Coach, and member of the leadership team for Coach Inc.
