SA Water Tour - Tuesday 6 April 2010
You have the opportunity to tour the largest commercially developed building in Australia to be awarded a 6 star Green Star Office Design rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. There are significant water and energy savings in the building design and operation. The SA Water Learning Centre is dedicated to promoting water literacy in South Australia and its interactive education technology and multi purpose space has attracted many visitors since it was opened in early 2009. There will be two special conference tours of the building at 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday April 6th. The building is across the city square from the conference venue and the tours will last 45 minutes.

Civic Reception

The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Michael Harbison would like to offi cially welcome delegates to the city and extends an invitation to join him at a Civic Reception which he is hosting in the Town Hall on the evening of Wednesday April 7th. Adelaide Town Hall is a beautiful building completed in 1866. The hall is famous for an appearance by The Beatles on the balcony in 1964, which attracted an estimated 300,000 fans, their biggest crowd. The Town Hall is close to the northern section of Victoria Square and is less than 5 minutes walk from the conference venue. Numbers to this event are limited with priority given to full registrants and their accompanying guests.
