General Information

The following information is provided to assist you with your attendance at the Conference. Please contact the Conference Organisers on (02) 6288 3998 or email: cdaa@onqconferences.com.au if you require further assistance or have any questions with regard to your attendance.

Airport transfers
Please access the Getting There webpage to see transfer information and travel options. Cairns Airport is located approximately 15-20 minute drive from the city centre.

Dress
Dress throughout the Conference is neat casual. Dress for each function will be indicated in the function description once the function is organised and the website updated.

Privacy
On Q Conference Support will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the Conference. Personal information will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.

Delegate List
A delegate list will be supplied to Conference attendees including sponsors. The list will exclude those delegates who have specifically requested exclusion during the registration process.

Photocopying at the Conference
If you are a presenter, please ensure you bring a sufficient number of handouts for your session. Unfortunately, CDAA cannot be responsible for costs in relation to production of speaker handouts. If you require items to be photocopied at the Conference, this will be at your own cost and may be done through the venue.

Smoking
The Conference and all social functions are non-smoking.

Name Badges
Name badges will be issued when registering at the Conference. For security purposes the Conference name badge must be worn at all times during the conference.

Baby Sitting
Please contact your chosen hotel to arrange a baby-sitting service. 

Parking
The Cairns Convention Centre offers under the venue for $4.00 per day. Nearby public parking is available for $3 per day.

Accommodation Accounts
All accommodation accounts must be settled with the hotel on check-out. Neither CDAA nor On Q Conference Support will be responsible for accommodation accounts not pre-arranged.

Messages
A message board will be located near the Registration Desk.

Weather
During April, Cairns enjoys slightly cooler temperatures ranging between 29.0 degrees maximum to 20.0 degrees minimum. Please ensure you have warm clothes for evening functions.

Special Requirements
Please note any special requirements, for example dietary or mobility, when registering for the Conference. All special requirements will be forwarded to the venue prior to the start of the Conference. For pre-arranged special dietary requirements, please make yourself known to the waiting staff at all functions and your meal will be delivered to you.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include personal travel or health insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that when registering for the conference and booking travel that delegates make arrangements for appropriate insurance cover. CDAA and On Q Conference Support do not take responsibility for any delegate failing to take adequate insurance cover.

Registration Desk
The registration desk will be located in the foyer of the Conference Centre and will be open for most hours during the Conference. Detailed opening and closing times will be notified on this site, closer to the event.
