Airport transfers and travel to the Convention

Dress throughout the Convention is neat casual. Dress for each function is indicated within the function description.
On Q Conference Support will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the Convention. Personal information will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.
A delegate list will be supplied to Convention attendees including sponsors. The list will not include those delegates specifically requesting exclusion on the registration form.
Photocopying at the Convention
Please ensure you bring a sufficient number of any handouts for your session. GPET cannot be responsible for costs in relation to production of your handouts. If you require items to be photocopied at the Convention, this will be at your own cost and may be done through the venue.
Mobile phones and pagers
As a courtesy to other delegates, please ensure all mobile telephones and pagers are turned off or in ‘silent’ mode during all sessions and social functions.
Name badges will be issued when registering at the Convention. For security purposes the Convention name badge must be worn at all times during the conference.
Please contact your chosen hotel to arrange babysitting services if necessary.
The National Convention Centre Canberra offers day parking underneath the venue at a rate of $12 per day. Public pay parking is also available across the road from the NCCC.
All accommodation accounts must be settled on check-out. Neither GPET nor On Q Conference Support will be responsible for accommodation accounts not pre-arranged.
During September, temperatures range from 27.0 degrees maximum to 9.7degrees minimum. Please ensure you have warm clothes for evening functions.
We wish to ensure that your attendance at the Convention is a pleasant and comfortable experience. Please make a note of any special requirements, for example dietary or mobility, when registering for the Convention. All special requirements will be forwarded to the venue. For pre-arranged special dietary requirements please make yourself known to the waiting staff at all functions.
Registration fees do not include personal travel or health insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that when registering for the Convention and booking travel that delegates make arrangements for appropriate insurance cover. GPET and On Q Conference Support do not take responsibility for any delegate failing to take adequate insurance cover.
Whilst we have endeavoured to ensure all information on the Convention web site and printed material is accurate all details are subject to change without notice. Any corrections or amendments will be updated on the Convention web site as soon as possible. In the event of industrial disruptions or service provider failures, neither GPET nor On Q Conference Support, accept any responsibility for losses incurred.
