Royal International Convention Centre,

The venue for the Convention is the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) at 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills Brisbane. This is a short drive or approx. 30-40 minute walk from the accommodation venues.
The Pullman King George Square, the main accommodation venue for the Convention is located at the Corner of Ann and Roma Streets, directly opposite Roma Street Station. The Sofitel Hotel is located directly above Central Station with escalators from the Station accessing the hotel foyer. Please refer to the map on the social pages to see the locations.
Travel by air Brisbane Airport is 20-30 minutes out of the CBD and the Royal International Convention Centre. It has both international and domestic terminals in close proximity. Domestic flights arrive from all Australian capitals and some regional centres.

All international travellers will require a current Passport to enter Australia. Other than New Zealand residents, persons entering Australia will also require a Visa to stay for the conference. Airport transfers Taxi - At the Domestic Terminal, the taxi rank is located centrally in front of the terminal. At the International Terminal, the taxi rank is located at the northern end of Arrivals on Level 2.
A fare to the city can range from $35-$40.
The two major taxi companies are Black & White (13 10 08) and Yellow Cab Co (13 19 24).
All taxis are meter operated by time and distance, and operate twenty four hours a day. Taxis indicate they are vacant by illuminating their sign on the roof. At both airport terminals available taxis will wait at the taxi rank.
Airtrain - Airtrain is the quickest, most economical way to travel. Only 20 minutes on the train and you'll arrive in the heart of Brisbane City. Airtrain's Brisbane City transfer is a direct service. The Airtrain stations at the Domestic and International Airports are located directly outside the terminals, with trains departing every 15 minutes during peak periods. Brisbane buses and ferries
Information on local bus, train and ferry routes and connections can be obtained from Translink (13 12 30; 6am-9pm Mon-Thu, 24hr 6am Fri to 9pm Sun).
Fares on buses, trains and ferries operate on a zone system. There are 23 zones in total, but the city centre and most of the inner-city suburbs fall within Zone 1, which translates into a single fare of $2.20/1.10 per adult/child. If you’re going to be using public transport more than once on any single day, it’s worth getting a daily ticket (per adult/child zone 1 $4.40/2.20, zone 2 $5.20/2.60, zone 3 $6/3), which allows you unlimited transport on all buses, trains and ferries.You can also purchase off-peak daily tickets (per adult/child zone 1 $3.30/1.70, zone 2 $3.90/2, zone 3 $4.50/2.30), which allow unlimited transport but only between 9am and 3.30pm and after 7pm from Monday to Friday, and all weekend.
The fast Citytrain network has seven lines, which run as far as Gympie North in the north (for the Sunshine Coast) and Robina in the south (for the Gold Coast).
